While reading my News of the World (ok this is not the best paper ever, but I bought it for the Nails Inc promo), I stumbled upon an article about this Suddenly Madame Glamour perfume that we can find in the aisles of Lidl.

Yes, Lidl! I know some of those cheap supermakets have been featured as having really good quality products, such as Lacura cream at Aldi and other.

Well. Suddenly Madame Glamour is the new "cheap supermarket" beauty find frenzy! It sells at £3.99 for a 50 ml bottle, which is even cheaper than drugstore perfumes. Even better, it is tagged as a Chanel Coco Mademoiselle dupe!

A blind smell test has been conducted by John Bailey (head of the Perfumers Guild) on 150 women with Lidl's Suddenly Madame Glamour and Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle (£61) and 90% of them actually preferred Suddenly Madame Glamour!

The Suddenly Madame Glamour perfume has "fresh citrus and floral notes merging to an alluring, exotic oriental accord."

I really am curious about this one, because I like Coco Mademoiselle, but for some reasons, Chanel's perfumes don't develop really good on me... Maybe this one will lack the one thing that makes this happen?
